With Valentine’s Day around the corner, there are tons of things to do in the area with your sweetie that can be fun, cheap and romantic. Being a college student and making a budget for Valentine’s Day is simple. Giving small, thoughtful gifts is easy as well. Here are a few activities in the area to do on Valentine’s Day.
Bars and Restaurants
Since Valentine’s Day falls on a college bar night, there are drink and food specials around town. Places such as Bar Louie and One Eyed Jack’s have $2 well drinks and food specials during happy hour in the afternoon. Sake by the Greene offers sushi specials and 15% off the hibachi table on Valentine’s Day. Be aware that restaurants tend to be crowded on this holiday so arrive early if possible.
Take your date to a movie at the Rave at the Greene or Regal by Fairfield Commons. Both theatres have student and military discounts. Here are some of the movies already released and being released for Valentine’s Day.
