Wise Guys, Eh? It is not yet a name that rings familiar in the ears of Wright State students, such as, say, Cousin Vinny’s. But will it soon?

Due to a split up among business partners, the Kauffman Road location of the beloved pizza franchise, Cousin Vinny’s, has now become Wise Guys Pizza. Wise Guys has locations in Huber Heights, Springfield, and its most recent place of residence, Fairborn.

As far as quality goes, it is not too different according to owner Rick Allen.  “We’re using a different dough, as well as a more expensive, better quality sauce,” said Allen, who also mentioned the addition of wings and sandwiches to the menu. “The menu is bigger and better”.

Wise Guys will be accepting WSU flex dollars as well as taking off $1.50 for any Wright State student with an ID.  “We have always supported, and will continue to support Wright State and its students”.

Cousin Vinny’s, however, is still alive and around. The Patterson Road location is thriving, and they have made the decision to continue delivering to Wright State.  According to owner Frankie Passaro, Vinny’s will also soon be adding chicken wings to the menu, as well as accepting flex dollars (once they acquire the proper machine for it).  You can expect the same pizza as always from Cousin Vinny’s.

Cousin Vinny’s has locations in Dayton, Xenia, West Carrolton, Middletown, Muncie, IN, and it’s most recent, Richmond, VA.  So fear not Vinny’s addicts, they’re not going anywhere.

Whether you dare to try a new taste, or would rather stick with a classic, pizza options are thriving here in the Fairborn area.  If you’re feeling some delivery, Wise Guy’s number is 937- 318-1000 and Cousin Vinny’s Patterson number is 937- 252-8811. It is establishments like Wright State that make or break companies like these. So remember, you have the power!
