-Establish a budget

9-12 months ahead:
-Set a date
-Book ceremony and
-reception locations
-Set up your gift registry
-Start gown shopping
-Draft a guest list and designate your attendants

6-9 months ahead:
-Finalize guest list
-Select and order invitations and other wedding stationary.
-Arrange airline deals andgroup accommodation rate for out-of-town guests.
-Book flights and hotel rooms for honeymoon.
-Book wedding-day hair and make-up appointments.

4-6 months ahead:
-Schedule rehearsal with officiant and notify key people.
- Arrange transportation for bride, groom and others who need it.

2 months ahead:
-Mail out wedding invitations.
-Choose music
- Confirm with bridesmaids
-have their dresses, shoes and other needed accessories.

Day of:
-Get hair and make-up done.
-Dress
-Switch engagement ring to right hand.
